Citizenship is the proof given by a state to an individual to confirm the fact that they are a legal citizen of any state.
The full form of MRP is Machine Readable Passport (MRP).
Article 12 of the Constitution of Nepal states that a person who acquires Nepalese citizenship by descent in accordance with this Constitution may obtain a Nepalese citizenship certificate with gender identity in the name of his or her mother or father. Since there is a provision, it is possible to obtain a Nepali citizenship certificate in the mother's name.
